Announcing SHOWCASE THIRTEEN the concert happening on Friday June 13. Village Vinyl Music Emporium & Cafe presents 13 bands for 13 bucks! This all ages event will be held at the Assembly Hall. It has a huge stage, great sound and lighting systems and comfortable seating. This is a concert for everyone with a huge variety of music genres and styles being featured. We have musical performances from Reggae to Bluegrass and Contemporary Jazz to Indie Folk. From Punk Rock to Pop Rock and a lot more in between. 13 bands for 13 bucks, what a night of music in South Etobicoke! This is a great concert for young and older alike. Doors open at 6:00 pm and the concert begins at 7:00. It will likely end some time just past midnight. There will be refreshments available all night including non alcoholic wine and beer, an assortment of cold drinks and delicious teas and coffees. We will also have a large variety of snacks and sweet bakery items for sale. While you are enjoying your refreshments at anytime, including intermission, you can browse the band merchandise that will be available for sale. This is a great opportunity to support your favorite performers. They will be available and pleased to sign any merchandise you purchase after their performance. Tickets sales have begun and at this time are only available at Village Vinyl Music Emporium & Cafe. You can come in and buy them directly at the store or give us a call and purchase them with a MasterCard or Visa. Credit card sales will be charged a .50 cent surcharge per ticket. Purchased tickets can be mailed or picked up after 6:00 pm at the front door. The Assembly Hall is located at 1 Colonel Samuel Smith Park Drive at the intersection of Kipling Avenue and Lake Shore Boulevard in Toronto. Easily accessible via transit and plenty of parking is available near by.
