Last month I was very fortunate to to have been given the opportunity to acquire a sensational and massive lifetime collection of Reggae, Ska, Soul, R&B and Island Disco vinyl LP’s as well as 7″ and 12″ 45’s. “Yes!” I said. The collector who amassed these recordings was a discriminating, astute ‘sound system’ Jamaican music man who also lived for some time in England before finally coming to reside in Canada. Thus, most of these records are Jamaican and U.K. pressings and many are recorded on highly collectible Jamaican labels, both world famous and desirably obscure. They range in age from the 60″s through the 90″s. All are in mint or near mint condition.

Such popular artists as the one and only Bob Marley, Gregory Isaacs, Jimmy Cliff and Al Green predominate though there is too a considerable representation of talented but much more locally renowned Jamaican musicians.
