On Sunday January 13 we welcome home to the Lake Shore Village, and to Village Vinyl’s weekly ‘Sunday Session” a Canadian music icon! Eugene Smith was born on Sixth Street and cut his teeth in the music world playing at local establishments in the community. He was then known as Jay and the Majestics and later as Eugene Smith and the Warm Up Band. Over the past 4 decades Eugene has shared the stage with such great artists of the music world as Gordon Lightfoot, KD Lang, King Curtis, Willie Dixon, Peter Tosh, Bo Diddley, The Beach Boys, The Dave Clark Five and so many more. His performance begins at 2:00 so get here early as we are expecting a real big crowd and as our regulars know space is limited.
